• The Purchasing Officer is responsible for managing the procurement of IT equipment, warehouse supplies, and office needs. This role involves sourcing suppliers, obtaining multiple quotations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of quality goods and services. The Purchasing Officer will collaborate with various departments to meet their procurement needs efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for IT equipment, warehouse supplies, and office needs.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and new suppliers.
  • Request and review multiple quotations for each procurement request to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Obtain and compare at least three quotations for every procurement request.
  • Evaluate quotations based on price, quality, delivery time, and supplier reliability.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible deals.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records and documentation.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to management.
  • Procure office supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Handle emergency procurement requests promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Proven working experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
  • Talent in negotiations and networking.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
