Fleet Specialist Intern job description:

  • Courier Quality Enhancement: Implement initiatives to improve courier service quality, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries while maintaining service excellence.
  • On-Ground Checks: Conduct daily checks on operational activities, ensuring compliance with set standards and protocols.
  • Earnings Review: Add, review, and check the earnings of the couriers, ensuring accuracy and fairness.
  • Client Interaction: Meet and visit clients to address their specific needs and ensure satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for couriers to enhance their performance and ensure they meet operational demands and quality standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Develop strategies to enhance courier performance metrics, including delivery speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Uniform Compliance: Ensure uniform adherence among couriers, maintaining a professional and standardized appearance consistent with the company's brand image.
  • Attendance and Fulfillment Rate Improvement: Enhance courier attendance and fulfilment rates through efficient scheduling and performance tracking.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline fleet operations for maximum efficiency, minimizing idle time, optimizing routes, and enhancing overall productivity.
  • Performance Oversight: Oversee the overall performance of on-ground operations, ensuring alignment with company standards and goals.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze fleet and courier data to derive insights, prepare comprehensive reports, and identify areas for improvement and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of logistics and delivery operations, route optimization, and fleet management principles.
  • Analytical Skills: analytical skills to generate and analyze performance reports, identify trends, and develop action plans.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with couriers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and departments to achieve common goals.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order assignment, report generation, and monitoring activities.
